Who we are
The No Weigh Movement is operated by Dr Asher Larmie, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit noweigh.org.
If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, you can contact us at: contact@noweigh.org
What data we collect and why
When you join the No Weigh Movement via our email signup form, we collect:
- Your first name
- Your email address
We collect this information so we can send you the free No Weigh Script and our weekly newsletter. We will never use your data for any other purpose.
Our legal basis for processing this data is consent. You are choosing to give us your information by completing the signup form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
How we store your data
Your name and email address are stored securely in MailerLite, our email marketing platform. MailerLite is GDPR compliant and their privacy policy can be found at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not store your personal data anywhere else. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking tools. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party beyond MailerLite.
Third-party platforms: If you purchase a consultation or course, you will be directed to an external platform (such as fatdoctor.co.uk or Thinkific) which has its own privacy policy. We do not collect or store any payment information.
Cookies
This website is built using WordPress and Elementor, which may install functional cookies necessary for the website to operate. These cookies do not track you across other websites and are not used for advertising or analytics purposes.
How long we keep your data
We will keep your name and email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. If you unsubscribe, MailerLite will remove you from our mailing list. You can also request that we delete your data entirely at any time by contacting us directly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us directly
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been handled incorrectly
The ICO can be contacted at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
